Getting Started
Quick setup guide for new users
- Create an account: Sign up with your @automateboss.com email address
- Connect GoHighLevel: Click "Connect GoHighLevel" and authorize the application
- Select a Location: Choose the GoHighLevel location you want to manage
- Choose a Calendar: Select a calendar with at least one team member assigned
- Generate Booking Links: Create embeddable calendar links for your website

Requirements and best practices for calendars
Important Requirements
To generate booking links, your calendar must meet these requirements:
- Service-type calendars only: Only Service-type calendars are valid for appointment creation. Other calendar types will not appear in the selection.
- Team member required: Each Service calendar must have at least one valid team member assigned. Calendars without team members will not be shown for selection.
- Time zone settings: Ensure the correct time zone is set in GoHighLevel for accurate scheduling and to prevent booking conflicts.
- Availability settings: Double-check calendar availability settings in GoHighLevel to prevent booking conflicts and ensure accurate time slots.
Contact Management
Search and manage your GoHighLevel contacts
The Contacts page allows you to search and view your GoHighLevel contacts directly from the dashboard.
- Search contacts by name, email, or phone number
- View contact details and appointment history
- Access all appointments associated with a contact
- Track interactions and communication history
Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions
No calendars available
If you don't see any calendars, ensure that:
- Your calendars are of type "Service" in GoHighLevel
- At least one team member is assigned to each calendar
- You have the correct location selected
- Your OAuth token has the necessary scopes (calendars.readonly, calendars.write)
OAuth connection issues
If you're having trouble connecting to GoHighLevel:
- Ensure your GoHighLevel account has the necessary permissions
- Check that you're selecting the correct location
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your account
- Verify that your location has access to calendar features
Booking links not working
If booking links aren't functioning properly:
- Verify the calendar has team members assigned
- Check calendar availability settings in GoHighLevel
- Ensure the calendar is active and not archived
- Test the link in an incognito browser window
